Anyone Home?

In an opinion post, The Washington Post, attempts to notify all audiences of how empty the president's staff is. I agree with the post's opinion, the White House is empty. Its hard not to agree considering the evidence is clear as day. The Washington Post states, "... there hasn't been one in weeks", referring to the routine daily briefings in the State Department. This is more than likely a fact due to the lack of staff in the white house. This article states that only 34 of 549 of appointments below the cabinet level have been appointed, and only 14 of those have been confirmed. I believe the post is alluding to these spots never being filled completely, and if they are, with the already high turn over rate of Trumps administration we can't be certain they will stay filled. Its also an issue of the President's unpredictable behavior. Many people approached for these positions may not take them due to the uncertainty of the position. You'd think that these positions would be filled just as quickly as President Obama's staff was shipped out, however this was not the case. Donald Trump prides himself in being the best, but sooner or later he will realize that he can't do this job single handedly.
